It all works great on Android thanks to a genius little app called Airdroid that lets you sync arbitrary files to your Android device, and since Android gives apps access to the general file system, Keepass2Android on the Android had no issues opening the kdbx file. I totally detest iTunes, and didn't want to copy files to anywhere outside my own network as an intermediate hop. The sync I needed was one-way (PC to Mobile) as opposed to a full 2-way sync (write anywhere and keep in sync). I generally treat the copy on my PC as a "master" but like to keep a copy on mobile devices as a backup and for when I'm using the same sites/apps over mobile for convenience.
